Iran’s short ‘Cover’ to go on screen at German fest

Directed by Vahid Alvandi, the short film ‘Cover’ has been selected to go on screen at Termeh 4th Iranian Cultural Festival in Germany.

The short’s synopsis reads “the corpse of Ahmad, a basic worker, comes back to life. But, this time he does not want to lead the life he was living before.”

The cast includes Yousef Yazdani, Hadi Eftekharzadeh, Hamed Nasaj-Bokharaee, and Babak Rezapour.

‘Cover’ has participated at several film festivals including the third edition of Bolton Film Festival in the UK and the 2019 edition of the International Amity Short Film Festival in Turkey.

The short received an honorary diploma at the Amity Short Film Festival.

4th Termeh event aims to showcase the works of Iranian artists from around the world.

It allows all Iranian artists (abroad or in Iran) to meet.

The fest is slated for January 30-February 12, 2020.
